ESN Haaga-Helia is looking for a new person to join the board as a Treasurer! Could it be you? 🫵🤑

ESN is Europe’s biggest student network represented by +500 local sections in +100 higher education institutions and +42 countries! ESN Haaga-Helia is a local section and a member of ESN Finland among 14 other Finnish sections. We advocate for and take care of the international exchange students in Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and the Helsinki region! 🌍

Our operations include a variety of events and activities from social events, trips and excursions to traditional Finnish student events and big club parties with up to 1000 attendees! Our objectives also include other projects and missions with the purpose of improving the Erasmus experience as a whole, and we regularly participate in national and international events and trainings of ESN.

Therefore, ESN Haaga-Helia is a great place to create, experiment and develop, both yourself and the organisation! ⚡️

As Treasurer you’ll be responsible of general board work and managing the association’s finances together with the President. The work includes e.g. invoicing, budgeting, accounting, reporting and other ad hoc tasks. Our Finance Officer will also support you with the work!

👀 Our ideal Treasurer is:

• International or internationally minded

• Passionate with thrive to learn, develop and experience

• Committed and proactive towards their responsibilities and general board work

• Proficient in English

Previous experience is not required, but is seen as a plus! Relevant work experience, completed studies, or other knowledge in financial administration will be an asset in adjusting to the position. 🧠
